P P ARNOLD

She started her singing career as an ‘Ikette’ with Ike and Tina Turner and first came to London with them in the mid-sixties touring with Rolling Stones. She began her solo career as the first female artist on the Immediate record label. Her first single ‘The First Cut is The Deepest’ penned by Cat Stevens is a soul classic as well as the Chip Taylor classic ‘Angel of the Morning’.

Pat is a Soul survivor and has toured alongside Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Kinks, Blind Faith, Small Faces and David Bowie to name but a few with her legendary 60's backing band “The Nice”. In the late 1990’s she had hits with the Beatmasters “Burn It Up” and K.L.F. “3 AM Eternal” both reached the Top 10 and gave her credibility on the Dance Music scene. Her duet with Simon Fowler on the Ocean Colour Scene hit “It’s a Beautiful Thing” also reached the Top 10.

“Touring the world with Roger Waters on 3 In the Flesh world tours and 3 Dark Side Of the Moon world tours gave me the opportunity to get a lot of global exposure and the reactions that I received from those audiences inspired me to step out on my own again. The industry has changed so much in recent years and it's a big challenge for me, but I'm rising to that challenge and stepping out on the faith. After all, that's what being a Soul Survivor is all about.”
